Degree mark

The mark for the Award of Degree is calculated by multiplying the marks of each course by the Credit value of the course, and the sum of the individual products is divided by the sum of the Credit values of these courses. The Credit values are determined as follows :

  1. Courses with 2 credits: their Credit value is equal to 1,0
  2. Courses with 3-4 credits: their Credit value is equal to 1,5
  3. Courses with more than 4 credits: their Credit value is equal to 2,0
  4. Dissertation: the Credit value is equal to 6,0

The grade of the Degree is calculated by the formula below:

Ν is the total of the courses offered for the Award of Degree (Compulsory courses, Elective courses,  Free Election Courses and the Dissertation)
Bi stands for the mark of each course and
σi stands for the Credit Value of each course
